But whether women will proactively seek advice is another matter, something the whole advisory industry can help tackle. Chapman added: "A lot of women do not have the confidence to ask for help.
"Not in all case, obviously, but I think women [tend to] trust advice from women, especially if they are single. As an industry we need to continue to address this.”
