Specialist lending packager and distributor Complete FS has appointed Becky Danson to head up its second charge business.
Ms Danson previously worked at RBS where she managed a portfolio of 500 high net worth clients.
Damian Cain, director at Complete FS, said secured loans had become a growing source of new business for the lender as people looked for alternatives to remortgaging.

The second charge lending market had seen steady growth in the past year.
Data released by the Finance & Leasing Association last week showed there were 2,282 new second charge agreements made in November, up 21 per cent on the same month in 2017.
The value of new business in the market grew to £99m and brought the total value of the second charge market to almost £1.1bn for the 12 months to November last year.
The body predicted the market was "likely to report solid single-digit new business volumes growth in 2018 overall".
