A pair of investment managers have been appointed at 7IM, as part of what the firm called its "continuous expansion of investment capabilities".
Asim Qadri and Brian Leitao will focus on enhancing and deepening 7IM’s fund selection and portfolio management capabilities.
Qadri has 10 years of experience and comes from Abrdn's multi-asset team where he spent three years. Before he worked at Architas, Mercer, and Société Générale in similar roles.
While Leitao has eight years of investment experience, most recently at Mercer, and has also worked at Fundhouse, Morningstar and EQ Investors.
He has conducted fund research across a broad range of sectors and geographies, both actively and passively.
Both will report into Uwe Ketelsen, head of portfolio management.
Ketelsen said: “They join at an exciting time for the business as we focus heavily on expanding our investment expertise.
"We have a strong belief in the value-add of fund selection expertise for our clients and we are looking forward to the diversity of thought Asim and Brian will bring into our multi-asset capabilities and overall investment process.”
The latest appointments follow a series of hires and 7IM said there is further recruitment underway.
