The growing number of tech companies paying dividends could change the complexion of dividend growth strategies away from financials and other slower-growing companies.

In September, we looked at equity income and dividend investing, how tech stock dividends could change income investing strategies and the outlook for this investment sector.

Mega-stocks, the likes of Alphabet, Meta Platforms, and Salesforce announced their first-ever dividend payouts this year, joining a growing number of smaller tech stocks that are now rewarding investors with payments. 

August was all about tech investing and how tech volatility highlighted concerns from investors about artificial intelligence.

Questions have been asked whether we are in the middle of an AI bubble or if the circumstances surrounding the rise of this booming technology is very different to that of the dotcom bubble?
