Round up from day 2 of the Labour Party conference

The FCA’s secondary objective of facilitating international competitiveness looks like it’s becoming more and more prominent. The next big set piece event for the government is the international business summit on October 14, at which it hopes to attract inward investment from all over the world.

Part of the selling point will be to sell the UK as a place that is open for business with robust and modern regulation. If we’re promoting the best of British, it seems there’s one highly appropriate choice for any musical entertainment, and that’s to invite along Simon le Bon and his yacht.
